Tasks aren't coming in
Your extension isn't liking or commenting on anything, or your boost isn't filling up. Causes and fixes.
Your extension gets no tasks
Pending Tasks stays at 0 in the extension window, and you don't earn credits.
Check the extension is ready
Signed in to the app, LinkedIn Session on Active, Auto-Engagement, Auto-Like and Auto-Comment on. See The extension seems disconnected.
Keep Chrome and a LinkedIn tab open
The extension only acts while Chrome is running with a linkedin.com tab open. If it opened a pinned LinkedIn tab, don't close it.
Check today's cap
To keep a human pace, the extension stops at 20 likes and 5 comments a day. For the first 14 days after install, these caps start at about a quarter and rise gradually. Once the cap is reached, tasks resume the next day.
Let a pause pass
After several failures in a row on LinkedIn, the extension takes a short break before trying again. Wait a few minutes, then click Force Poll Now.
Join more pods
Tasks come from boosts launched by members of your pods. If there are few at the moment, there are few tasks. Adding interests puts you in more pods.
Your boost isn't filling up
The post stays Boosting and likes come in slowly, or not at all.
- Give it time. Likes and comments are handed to members as their extension comes online, with 1 to 5 minutes between two actions at Natural speed. A 50-like boost spreads over several hours.
- Widen the audience. A By interest audience on a small industry has fewer members. For your next boost, pick Any available or tick more industries. See Choose the audience.
- Check the language. The members are those of the language chosen at the Audience step.
- Look at the tasks. On the post's page, Engagement Tasks shows the tasks assigned, scheduled and executed. A task that fails 3 times is refunded.
- Cancel if needed. Cancel Post stops the boost and refunds the likes and comments scheduled but not delivered yet.
