LinkedIn account already linked to another account
The extension shows “LinkedIn Account Already In Use”. A LinkedIn profile can be linked to only one Podavera account.
A LinkedIn profile can be linked to only one Podavera account. That's what stops anyone from boosting their own posts with several accounts.
When the LinkedIn profile open in Chrome is already linked to another Podavera account, the extension window shows LinkedIn Account Already In Use ("This LinkedIn profile is already connected to another account"), and it stops taking any action.
What to do
You have two Podavera accounts (for example one with Google and one with an email): sign in to app.podavera.com with the account already linked to this LinkedIn, and keep using that one.
You want to switch Podavera accounts:
- Sign in to the old Podavera account.
- Open Settings › LinkedIn Connection and click Disconnect.
- Sign out, then sign in to the new account in the same Chrome: the extension links your LinkedIn to it.
The wrong LinkedIn account is open in Chrome (a colleague's, for example): sign out of linkedin.com, then sign in with your own profile.
You no longer have access to the other Podavera account: write to us from your current account's email address, with your LinkedIn profile URL. We'll check and free up the profile.
