Boost a post

Boost a post

The 6-step “Boost your post” wizard, from the LinkedIn post link to launch.

Boosting a post means asking for likes and comments on one of your LinkedIn posts, in exchange for credits. Click Boost a post at the top of the menu (or go to app.podavera.com/posts/submit).

The Boost your post wizard has 6 steps. Back returns to the previous step without losing anything.

Post URL

Paste your LinkedIn post URL, for example https://www.linkedin.com/posts/.... To get it on LinkedIn: the three dots at the top of the post › Copy link to post.

The link must come from linkedin.com. Tracking parameters at the end of the URL are ignored, and the same post can't be boosted twice while a boost is running on it.

Audience

Pick the Language (FR or EN) of the members who will engage, then the audience: Any available or By interest. See Choose the audience.

Likes

Pick your package: 10, 20, 50, 100 or 200 likes, at 1 credit per like. The packages offered depend on your plan:

PlanLikes per post
Starterup to 10
Growthup to 50
Scaleup to 200

Comments

Optional. Write the comments to post, one per line. Each line is one comment requested, at 3 credits. The number of comments and their cost show below the text box. Up to 50 comments per post.

Write comments that genuinely respond to your post: these are what members will publish. No comments? Click Skip.

Settings

Set the Speed, the Distribution and the Time spent simulation. The defaults (Natural, Uniform, None) suit most cases. See Speed and distribution.

Summary

Check your choices and the Total cost, then click Boost Now. The cost is debited from your balance and the boost starts.

After launch

The boost shows in My posts with the status Boosting and, on Home, in Current boost. The first actions go out about a minute later. See Follow a boost.
