Private pods
Create a private pod for your team or community, share its invite code, join or leave a pod.
Podavera already matches you with members who share your language and interests. Private pods are for your own circle: a team, a cohort, a community. You can only get in with an invite code.
Your boosts still reach the whole Podavera audience
Creating or joining a private pod doesn't shrink your audience: your boosts go to the audience chosen in the wizard (your language, and your interests if you target by interest), whether you're in a private pod or not.
Create a private pod
- On the Pods page, click Create a private pod.
- Give it a Name (3 to 50 characters), for example "Sales team" or "Growth cohort", and a Description if you like (500 characters max).
- Click Create pod.
You're its Owner. A private pod holds up to 50 members.
Invite members
Open your pod from Your private pods. As the owner, you see the Invite Code and a button to copy it. Send it to the people you want to invite: they need a Podavera account.
Join a pod with a code
- On the Pods page, click Join with a code.
- Paste the code the pod owner shared with you.
- Click Join pod.
If it doesn't work:
| Cause | What to do |
|---|---|
| The code was copied wrong | Copy it again in full, with no space before or after. |
| The pod is full | It reached its maximum number of members: check with its owner. |
| You're already a member | Nothing to do, the pod is already in Your private pods. |
Leave a pod
In Your private pods, click Leave on the pod's card, then confirm. The owner can't leave their own pod.
