How pods work

A pod is a group of Podavera members who like and comment on each other's posts. You don't have to look for pods: Podavera puts you in the ones that match your language and your interests.

The pods you're in

At the end of sign-up, you automatically join:

• the general pod of your language (French or English), which gathers all members of that language;
• one pod per interest you picked, in your language (for example Digital Marketing in English).

When you edit your interests, you join or leave the matching pods.

What happens in a pod

• You give: when a member of your pods boosts a post, your extension can get the task of liking or commenting on it. Each successful action earns you credits.
• You receive: when you boost a post, the likes and comments go to members of the general pod of the chosen language (Any available audience) or of the ticked interest pods (By interest audience). See Choose the audience.

Members are picked at random among those whose extension is active. You never engage with your own posts.

The Pods page

The Pods page (app.podavera.com/pods) gathers:

• Your private pods, the ones you created or joined with a code. See Private pods;
• Your interests, used to pick who engages with your posts when you boost with interest targeting. See Interests.
